Exporting transcripts

Reduct makes it easy to export your media and your transcripts in the format you need.

Recording

You can download the transcript of a full recording by clicking on the export icon, and selecting your desired format.

If you choose "Transcript (Word)" a docx file will be downloaded to your computer. It includes speaker names and timestamps.

Legal format

Users on the Advanced plan or with Enterprise access to Reduct can also choose to download their transcript in a Legal format as either TXT or PDF, formatted to complply with most state and federal courts in in the US, and compatible with many case management and eDiscovery software packages. Reel transcripts

You can download the transcript of a reel from the export menu. This will save a Word document to your computer, with timestamps that reference the original source footage, as well as details of which file each item came from.
