API Access
We provide a RESTful API that gives broad access across your Reduct workspace. Reduct's API currently has hundreds of accessible endpoints, and we have future development stages planned that will continue to add more capabilities.
Reduct's API is currently on version 3. For the following Reduct objects, you can use the API to create, edit, or retrieve information about either all objects in your organization or a specific individual object:
- Projects
- Recordings
- Media
- Redactions and any associated redaction motion
- Highlights
- Comments
- Reels
- Blocks, strikethroughs, or comments within reels
This includes access to a large number of adjacent properties, such as the languages associated with a recording or the workspace members who have access to a given project. You can also use the API to retrieve transcripts or transcription statuses, upload or import new media files, and publish or unpublish reels.
The API is available to customers on our Enterprise or Professional plans.
Log in to your Reduct account to access our full API documentation, including all endpoints. At this link you will also be able to generate or view your API keys so you can begin working with the API immediately.
