Legal-formatted transcripts

Reduct supports the export of transcripts in ASCII txt or PDF format that meet the specifications laid out by the majority of court systems, and can be customized to include line numbers, timestamps, and/or a cover page.

💡Note:

Legal-formatted transcript exports are only available on our Professional plan and for our Enterprise customers. If you are on thePersonal plan, you can upgrade at any time by going to Settings > Plan. All Reduct plans support exporting transcripts as Word documents.

  1. Click on the download icon at the top of a recording and select Transcript - Legal format (txt, pdf).
  2. You will then see a pop-up with a preview of the legal-formatted transcript.
  3. You now have 3 options:
    1. Include line numbers: You can add or remove the line numbers on the left of the transcript.
  4. Include timestamps: You have a choice to add or remove the timestamps after each speaker label.
  5. Include a cover page: Selecting this option will add a cover page to your exported transcript file.
  6. Once you are happy with how the transcript looks, click on the Download pdf or Download ASCII txt button to download it to your computer.
